LES BISOUS

i've always had a special admiration for people who are able to represent cheesy things/feelings/topics (cheesy actually meaning, most of the time, so important that they've been over-represented, and lost their initial meaning, i guess) in a non-cheesy way. Romantic relationships is one of these topics... Flore-Ael Surun has documented a complex relationship (her own) and i she managed to do something subtle. More about her and her work here.

yeah, love it ! Funny though, the repetition between the first 6 and second 6. They're kind of the same shots, shot differently. Or is it just me?

yeah it's true -"les bisous" means "the kisses" as you know- so i guess she's showing it again and again as well as certain locations... but if you click on the link i think she has more of this, shot in a different way!

i have tremendous respect for people that can put their emotions/relationships on display for everyone to pick through. It's something that terrifies me terribly. This work is simple and raw and i like it a good deal.
