I'm wondering about this photo I shot. Thinking of using it as the aesthetic inspiration for my comparative portrait study of old journalists vs young...really get in close...accentuate the age differences...is it too simple? not enough light? too much? I'd love your opinion.

I think the lighting is fine. I'd like to see an image of an older journalist to compare. Do you have one you can post? Maybe the lighting could be used to accentuate the age? I like the distance your shooting from. It reminds me a little of Schoeller's work, only not as skewed.
