Hey guys I ran across this photographer while surfing the net at work (shhhh...) he is a portrait photographer and they are all black and white images...They images are simply shot but are extremely beautiful.
I like these... but for some reason I think that the black background is not the best choice for these portraits on the guy's website. To me they are much stronger as black squares on a white background ... they pop more.
This is the active homepage of the Academy of Art MFA class 'IDEATION & PRESENTATION' that was brainstormed by Will Mosgrove and myself back in 2006, and is now in its second year of application.
Its creation and intent is to foster an individual's resolute conviction of their visual ideas; that their indelible ideative imprint is manifest in critically actuated presentation materials as well as practiced verbal elocution as being paramount. We take an aggressive approach to inviting outside guest presenters/critics in to every class that also assign bespoke projects in advance of their appearance to bridge those expectations and provide insight.
The summation of intent is to elicit a full complement of preparedness to pursue a career as a commercial artist with vigor, esteem and success with conviction; and not by following.
Thanks for visiting, please feel free to contact any of us with queries/comments.
